Medical Care

When a horse or mule comes to us it is very often malnourished and in need of a good deal of medical attention in order to rid the animal of the constant pain and agony it has been living with up to this point. These large animals need very special care.

Nourishment

Horses are pretty big animals! So of course, they need lots of feed to keep them healthy. That means thousands of pounds of hay, carrots, and even some tasty apples as an occasional treat. Because we all deserve to indulge in some sweets!

Daily Care

Along with the usual brushing and bathing that any domestic animal needs, horses and mules also need what is called “farrier services”. This means they need their hooves trimmed and shoed by an experienced professional who will treat them with care.
